Lina Koutrakos and Rick Jensen are both award winning, multi talented performers and teachers who have been singing, playing, directing and music directing in the New York City club and cabaret scene for years.
Koutrakos is the recipient of the 2007 MAC (Manhattan Assoc. of Cabarets & Clubs) Award for BEST MAJOR ARTIST -FEMALE, along with that year’s BEST DIRECTOR prize. Jensen has won several BEST MUSICAL DIRECTOR nods from MAC. Between them, they are also the recipients of the BACSTAGE BISTRO AWARD, the VILLAGE VOICE AWARD, The LAMBA AWARD.
They teach ongoing Advanced Performance classes for singers in New York City and have served on the faculty of the O’Neill Cabaret Symposium at the Eugene O’Neill Center in Waterford, CT, The St. Louis Cabaret Conference and The Cabaret Conference at Yale University in addition to facilitating weekend intensives in Chicago, Santa Fe, Washington DC and Boston.
Tim Schall is a performer and producer based in St. Louis. MO. Schall is the producer of THE ST. LOUIS CABARET CONFERENCE. He has performed his cabaret work at The Cabaret at Savor, The Bistro at Grand Center, The Sheldon Concert Hall, The Kranzberg Arts Center in St. Louis, along with appearances at Davenports in Chicago, the Geist Cabaret in Santa Fe, the Firehouse Stage in Binghamton, NY and Washington, DC’s The Indigo Room. Schall teaches Cabaret Performance workshops in St. Louis.
