08 St. Louis Report

Hi Everyone!

The 3rd Annual St. Louis Cabaret Conference was a great success, with 24 singers signing up and participating in four full days of workshops.  And there were performances each night! Five full cabaret shows were performed for the public and the Conference Partiicpants.  An Alumni showcase opened the event with 11 Alumns of previous Conferences singing in an original showcase, Friday night Producer Tim Schall (that’s me!) performed an original evening with Rick Jensen at the piano. Saturday night was our faculty Gala with Lina Koutrakos and Jason Graae offering their individual performances in one evening.  And we closed with a fantastic showcase on Sunday night featuring all of the singers from this year’s Conference in an original showcase.  Our great faculty of Lina Koutrakos, Rick Jensen, Jason Graae and Alex Rybeck guided everyone through a fantastic weekend.  We can’t wait for next year!

I wil  post picures and quotes ASAP.  Meanwhile I am on to Santa Fe and Boston with Rick and Lina for 3 day intensives in those great towns!
